I like it. I like it a lot.

So who's got a donor AWD 5MT tranny to send to ZeroShift for a prototype Legacy ZeroShift transmission...?

Any idea what they'd charge to modify a 5-gear transmission? :)

Omigod. That seems so simple.

It seems like the torque surge it has is basically like engine braking in reverse. It uses the power from the lower gear to bring the higher gear up to speed, and the engine down to its appropriate revs.....

That is the coolest thing ever. I can't wait to see it available commercially....

I hope it does become commercially available and doesn't go the route of rotary valves. The good thing is that car companies don't mind buying transmission tech out of house.

I think to convert all you'd need to do is get rid of the synchros, add the bullets and the shift forks with the springs on them. Imagine this in a full crash box!
