Hehe. "Hug." I've never heard it described that way before. Sounds more pleasant than "choke." :)

I hate it when I forget and open my door to look out and it chokes me. Both my drivers seat and my belt hug me :)

I feel lazy, and my passengers never buckle the lap belt. So it's a mixed blessing. I enjoy it because I think it's cool. But I would prefer that I don't have to remind my passengers to use the lap belt.

i've gotten so used to being reminded to put on my lap belt by the shoulder strap, when i get in other cars, i often forget to put on my seatbelt, that's bad news.

I hate them, I just don't feel that they are that safe... I like the way the seat belts feel in my 25 year old Mercedes more...

I prefer the normal belts, but I don’t really mind the “attack belts.” In our vintage US cars you had to have some kind of Supplemental Restraint System, and you got the belts-or and airbag. And I think the first gen airbags scare me more than the belts. I had and 87 Volvo back in the day, and it had airbags and ABS. And every time the SRS light would come on because of the decaying wiring harness I would make sure my arm wasn’t in a position where it would get blown into my face. I’m just afraid that the Bukminster Fuller belt system will brake forcing me to rig something up. I’ve almost destroyed them a few times because I was in a hurry. If you come screeching into a parking spot and get out of the car before the inertia reels let go….the belt goes about half way down the track and then gets stuck because it needs to pull slack from the reel. The noise makes my spine tingle, you have to reach in and pop the buckle on the mouse track to release it or it will rip out the whole thing.
