Yeah THAWA, i know of what station your speaking of. The one next to the Hardtimes Billiards right? Thats not a CHP station, thats Carmichael Police, and they're useless unless you've been shot, beaten or robbed. Im more worried about CHP, and its alway the damn bikes that get me(GODDAMN BIKES!!).

I also pay attention to the rear tailights of all vehicles in front of me, and decide wether or not that could be a cop or not. Watching the rear view is a waste, cause if I notice a cop is behind me, its probably already after they got me on their radar, and have the ticket in mind.

I guess this just means I need to get my car prepared for some races, and find a place to race.

hmm, didnt know that about them. but yeah I think I search for cops more than I look for anything else :) The rearview thing i meant from far away, or from a few cars back. See why we should've went to that auto cross :D

If I woulda went to the AutoX then i'd replacing ALOT more than suspension, prolly body panels :)

I try to pay attention to the cops, but i tend to focus more on the Subaru's that are around me. If the cops were in Subaru's it'd be 1000x easier.

Seriously, the best thing you can do is get a cheapo radar detector. I've had a basic Bel 950 something for 6 years or so and I can't count the number of times it's saved my ass. It only really works on the highway, but that's the only place I'm really concerned with. CHP only uses Ka band radar and my detector picks it up very well. This radar detector only cost about $120 back in the day, so you should be able to get a decent one now for pretty cheap :D Well worth it in my opinion.

I might need to take that advise Brian. Im only concerned when im on the freeway. I have been driving alittle more reklessly on the road, but now im cutting down.

I worry that if I get a detector I'll lose my 6th sense (I see police people). Most of the times I'd been nailed I ignored my instincts.

Thawa - When all four wheels have power I'm going to have a brake light off switch. 8) If I could only manage smoke screen I could be like Spy Hunter except without the Isdera Imperator (old school game version).

hahaha, just put oil squirters behind wouldnt be that hard :)

but seriously, if you could squirt like a quart or two of oil behind you they'd be fucked :D like some 5/20 :)

Drill another port in the cat or behind the cat to insert the oil. it wouldnt take much at all to completly blind the people behind you.

Hey I'm going to the sacramento raceway tomarrow. A drag race is open and it's only 15 bucks to come and race.

I'm leaving at 4 gates open at 4:30, time trials start at 5 and then the race starts at 7. Are you guys working tomarrow?

I have to go run a quick errand, but I'll be back to talk to you guys online.

I thought it might be nice to use this to get the race bug out of SubaruJunkie's system, but he's working. Oh well.

I know what you mean about losing your 6th sense while driving. I can assure you that if you've been doing it religiously like I have for the past 10 years, you won't lose it. You'll just get an additional, 7th sense...the detector sense. Most of the times the cops I spot aren't even using their radar :) :( I still see 'em before they get a chance to see me :D
