So when do you plan on doing the conversion?
My 90 Legacy doesn't look much better (but the CV's are new), but then I bought it for carrying a canoe. I'm still enjoying it though.

plan on doing it some time this summer. I still need to get the t-legacy trans, driveline, & diff to me.....as well as a second car, and other misc parts I will be upgrading. I'm not in any real hurry. I want it done right.

vrg3 wrote:subyluvr2212, are you talking just about 1990 models? Cuz I used to have a 91 Legacy L AWD 4EAT sedan with ABS.
I had a 91 L wagon with an option pack which added Abs, roof rack, chrome door handles and A/C - and it was a awd

Possibly your car also has the same package/

96 BG - SGP
96 CX - EBP

It had chrome door handles and air conditioning, but no roof rack... but mine was a sedan, and I don't think any sedans came with roof racks.

Guess what......I tried to vacuum the thing out a little.....really didn't help.....however I got some of the big crap out........BUT.....I was lookin in the engine bay.....found that the tube for the pcv system going to the valve cover was off.....probably would explain why the car didn't idle too well. ALSO.....I found that the main ground lead from battery to the starter was disconnected....compltely off.....so I reconnected it....

Woah! So the battery was charging through the small wire to the chassis behind the headlight, through the chassis to the transmission ground or whatever, and through the engine block to the alternator?
