You can only absorb about a cup of water every five minutes, so it's not very useful to drink water at a higher rate than that.
Most people actually spend most of their lives somewhat dehydrated... the sensation of thirst only signals when you're really dehydrated. A good indication of when you're properly hydrated is that your urine is gin-clear.

Would you believe that for someone who has lived in the South his whole life, I hate tea!!!
Ultimately, I like fruit juices... I cannot survive if I don't have a glass of orange juice in the morning. Screw coffee, OJ is the bomb-diggity! Apple juice is awesome, love grape juice, I drink a ton of lemonade, even pineapple juice or stuff like that.

I hope not! I'm fairly sure its just dehydration, as I've been slack in my water consumption lately.

sweet tea is the shit. I got hooked on it when I lived in memphis. When you ordered tea in the memphis it was sweet unless you specified otherwise. In texas however they don't have sweet tea. It's horrible for the teeth though.
I watched a guy make it at the fair. They basically pour tons and tons of sugar in boiling water. Store it, then pour in the tea mixture.....crazy sugar!

I always lose weight when I stop drinking pop and tea and just drink water. I have a strange fixation with Dasani bottled water. Hmmmmm London tap water. I don't mind peeing all the time either as long as I'm not on a long drive or something.
I love sweet tea but green tea is my favorite!

nah, I wouldn't say peach tea is more common. Just plain old tea is the norm.
I'll take dasani water over any other kind. It tastes the best IMO. You know why, because they pretty much just take normal water (ie leave the minerals in it) and put it in a bottle. So it still tastes good. I've tasted some spring water that's just nasty tasting.

Now THAT IS ironic!
Atkin's death wasn't related to his popular diet. He had a congenital heart defect.
BTW, you can die from drinking too much water. No, I'm serious. It takes a lot it but it can happen. What happens is you wash all of the salt from your body and your cells cease to function properly and go into osmotic shock. You need to have a balance but drinking plenty of water is good, just not too much.

Think of it this way, the more water you drink, the more weight you lose, the faster your car gets...well not by much but there's got to be a slight increase in power if you weigh less.
I too noticed increases in energy back when I started drinking water more often... the whole peeing thing kind of makes you wonder if humans are SUPPOSED to pee that much, especially if it means we're well hydrated.

It's why we used to be naked all the time. So we could just pee whenever.
Car doesn't increase in power, it just makes better use of the power it has

i have a friend, a little rich mofo that drives his daddy's new M3csl and he's a size zero for that exact reason.

rich dude tries to look pov; he's got this thing for his M3, but acts/looks all punk, with his bright green hair --still in illustrius golden curl form.. strange guy, makes most of my girls jealous.. eats nothing but salad, though.. went vegan for some reason..
oh well.. he's fast-er now..
(everyone get it that's gonna get it?)
