Professor - Apparently, Nitrous (at least as I've seen examples) does provide MORE cooling than the CO2.
I like the NX kit because of it's versatility. You can run the lines through your pre-turbo intake pipe and have supercooled aluminum tubes running through the intake then to the end-source of an IC sprayer.
You can probably use either Nitrous OR CO2 in the system. I doubt it's specific to one gas or another. I know you can fill a 10lb CO2 tank for a few bucks (less than 5) at Roberts Oxygen.
