Well.... My car wouldn't run at all, and I had tried that way.

It might also work if you open the fuel filler cap.

I had gas pouring out after I pulled the lines, until I started undoing the nuts, at which point it stopped.

Interesting. My car ran for about 30 seconds with the line disonnected, and when I undid the lines, didn't spill a drop. It may have helped that I only had 1/4 tank left though.

Mine was right on empty.

My car wasn't running anyway, because my fuel pump had crapped out. I'm wondering why there was pressure in the lines anyway.......

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just picked up a Walbro without asking what model it was. I just assumed out a WRX it was a 341. It's a GSS342. What am I going to do?

I thought you could use a 342 with some modification.

I just read though like 4 topics on fuel pumps and I get confliciting stories. Georyan or whatever had to mod his because it was for a NA, but BAC5.2 said that the 341 was a drop in, in one post then the 342 was a drop in. I'm so damn confused.

EFI fuel pumps are in general all pretty similar. Once you start to install the 342 you'll figure out what you need to do to make it work.

BAC5.2 wrote:Walbro 255lph. The 341 or 342 will work with some modding, I'm sure.

You can also use a MKIV Supra TT OEM pump, which is 255lph, and supposedly more reliable than a Walbro pump.
The supra pump is a 310lph Denso, not 255lph.
The price difference is large, 85 bucks for the wally 342 vs. $240 for the Denso 310. Unless you're running 500whp or more in your Suby the walbro works great.

okay so the 341 drops into NA Legacys, and the 342 drops into the Turbo Legacys.
NA injector sizes are very close to Turbo injectors. Both need to be side fed.
So my option would be a new pump 341 (install kit too) and of course wrx injectors?
Both of which would fit fine.
With my emanage I can controll fuel all over the map, and flow enough where I need it and back it off where I dont.
Sounds good?
