You can't really fuck up a bar and plate intercooler, and it's almost certain that they didn't make the core. And even if they did, it still should be fine.
It's the right size, and has a ton of thermal mass. I'm sure I will be pleased.
A friend of mine is getting a TXS FMIC, and we are gonna test fit the pipes to my car to get an idea of what it'll take. If they are close to fitting, I will probably run his pipes until I can get some built for my car.

Weak, they sent me the wrong intercooler (I hope...).

I had a Saab 900 IC on my old turbo, and while it did work, it caused more problems than it solved. Between the firewall/IC interferance, and the IC breaking off the nipples on the water reservior, as well as rubbing on the underside of my hood. When I get my next legacy turbo, I'm either going with a FXT topmount, or a reasonable-sized custom FMIC.
I am a fan of garage engineering, but things like a Saab IC wedged against the firewall and a coffee cup for an intake hose are poor solutions in my book. If you're going to do it, do it right the first time.
Of course, my next Legacy will have WRX heads, and a slightly larger turbo

While we are on the subject, i did a search and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
Does anybody know what thread the actual saab 900 intercooler install walkthru was?
