Why does everyone always insist on spending a ridiculous amount of money on name brand parts? Subaru OEM parts are very very high quality. Do this:corsair wrote:ok, well looking at all the things said it looks like the following

And if you are serious about some real power, you will pitch the Ej22 heads and get some Ej25 heads. And then you can run a set of the Syms ITB that are available. But this only if this is more than just bench racing.
BTW, both Diz's hybrid that I built and my 2.5rs engine run 11.5:1 CR on pump gas with stock ECU's and no detonation...
And my next project has started. We are building an EJ20G block with EJ22T heads. Should be a CR in the 9's, and then we will boost it with a vf-11 at 8psi or so. We figure it won't set any records, but should at least net us 200+ at the crank...
