Magnesium & Titanium burn extremely hot.

So hot that if you put water (H20) on them, you make an explosive. H by itself is explosive, 02 by itself is super explosive. The burn is so hot it seperates the two.

But both transfer heat in a super quick manner. So its the dust or chips like mentioned before that are the flammable hazard. Those two also make up the "white" in fireworks.

Ti is sick. A couple years back I came really close to buying an original Bontrager titanium frame, but decided against it. :cry: much respect to those who can weld it.
