we didnt have straws in school. ketchup packets on the other hand we put on the playground. we stomped most of em ourselves but let some of em be stepped on by accident.

I almost got my ass kicked stepping on a mustard packet when it sprayed on some huge older kid's pants. Good thing my friend and I could run.

Yeah, you had to roll the papers tight or they were no good. If your fingers weren't sore you weren't doing it right. A friend got arrested for trespassing and he had literally hundreds of them on him. The cops spent a couple hours unrolling each one (these things were TIGHT and did not want to unfurl) looking for drugs. I used to write things in mine like Allied bombs - things like, "Death from above', or "Eat shit and die". Don't know if anyone ever bothered unrolling them to see. Today I'd get arrested for terrorist threats or some other stupid shit.
