Oh, yes... that will be the case after you put the higher-pressure cap on the radiator. Hmm, I guess technically right now it's still the case, although it's sucking air in as it cools back down.

How did you plug the broken nipple?

havnet yet, but im going to use strong apoxy to glue the nipple and hose thats on it back on where it broke off from, it goes down through the metal tube that mounts near on the fuel injector rail, and comes out near the overflow tank which ill just make another hole for it.

having both the lines going to the bottom of the overflow tank, will i even need to get a higher pressure rad cap? or can i let them both do their own thing?

Near the overflow tank? Is your overflow tank on the passenger side of the vehicle? Are you planning on trying to add a new fitting to your radiator?

If it were me I'd put a higher pressure cap on the radiator, if for no other reason than that's how Subaru does it on new turbo models.

here is the line that broke off that ill re-glue on.

and here is where that line goes to, i just need a longer coolant hose then ill drill a hole on top of the overflow tank and feed it down to the bottom of it.

Ohhhh! I'm sorry; this whole time I'd been thinking it was the small nipple on the back of the tank that broke!

Okay, much clearer now... like they say, a picture's worth 1024 words. And it also helps to be able to read.

Yeah, epoxy might work there. Maybe try to find the epoxy that's designed specifically to bond to plastics. Or get some 5/16" OD copper tubing and see if you can press it in, and then the epoxy just has to act as a filler rather than a bonding agent. There isn't really much pressure at this joint.

Drilling a hole in the tank is one option, but it may be easier to just get a 5/16" hose tee and splice into the hose that's already there (coming from the radiator filler neck).
