clutch pack
If the clutch pack is burnt out does it usually make a howling sound tight turns under WOT?

Would you happen to have the part # for that solenoid? I've been trying to ID it for awhile now. My 1993 Legacy L Wagon has been having what I now believe to be classic symptoms of Torque Bind. It's taken me awhile to dig up any information on this. Great thanks to the crew here @ the Legacy BBS. You should see your Subaru Dealer parts guy for the part# because it is specific to your VIN# and similar part but not matching your vin# = disaster However a parts catalog is available at surreal-image website 75mb long though
