No, the PM's I've tried to send him are still waiting in my 'Outbox' so he hasn't been on LCO, or atleast not with his usual SN.

I do hope he's not having medical problems and that's he's alright, HOWEVER, it appears that he has several business affairs he needs to settle. I know he still owes me money for the brakes I sent down (with a tracking number) on good faith three weeks ago.

How long has he been gone? Usually the migrane episodes last a week.

I'll have to check one of my open source books, but there's a way to 'trick' a blocked-port host into responding, which would indicate some kind of activity on that host.
That I could do if I had his IP, but I actually don't know how to get that. . . . Anyone?

Last contact I had with him was on Feb. 8th and it appears that the last he was on LCO was when he made a post on Feb. 19th.

I don't want to call a man dishonest if I've never meet him and I'm not saying straight out that Greg is, but it would sure be nice to know why he hasn't paid me or gotten in touch with me. I left another message on his phone today.

Yyyyyyyyyeah.... um... I really wasn't going to say anything else but it is a little odd, I had paypal'd him $12 for a window motor a week or two before he dissappeared, asked him if he sent it a week later and he said he was busy with work and hadn't had a chance yet, I said that's cool, send it when you can. I asked again last week but never got a response...

I'd hate to think he did what some of us are suspecting; I like to think he's been really busy and/or sick, or maybe he really did find the guy whut stole his car...

did he make a bunch of other transactions with LCO people? I'd hate to pin this on Greg (because he's always been a great guy to me, if not a little shady), but maybe he took the money and ran?

I would doubt he would throw away everything for a couple of bucks. There has to be another explanation. He could be detained by sickness or work or feds or aliens or something. I don't know him all that well but I would have no reason to suspect him as a thief. But he should have settled any money affairs as soon as he could have, especially if he started feeling sick. That way no one would have to suspect him of anything.

I just started this thread because I havent seen him around. I recall him being on here everytime I came on. I still dont think hed burn people over less than 100 bucks. I'm sure he'll surface with a good excuse.

Pretty much gave up on ever getting a refund. The thing that sucks is it was an active member that screwed us, I can understand getting taken on ebay but not here.

You know what? Enough of me being the nice guy. If he's screwing people over, then he's no longer welcome on this board. Thus I have no reason to be nice to him anymore.

His name is Greg, and I've met him in person. He's just as much an annoying idiot in person as he is on the boards. He apparently has virtually NO friends in real life, so when he met me, he damn near stalked me on AIM and was constantly wanting to hang out. From what I can tell, he's addicted to prescription medications and his wife is constantly accusing him of cheating on her.

I didn't want to get in a war with him over this forum, so I've kept my mouth shut this whole time. But I didn't think he would fuck you guys over, otherwise I would've said something right from the get-go.
