Sweet. I wanted to put a DET in my 1992 Infiniti G20, but I realized it would cost like $4500 before all was said and done. :( Plus I had no mechanical expereince at the time.

Then I looked at an SR20VE... and realized I didn't actually have the money or expertise to do that either.

I'd love to keep the G20 as a project car, but I don't really have a lot of money to pour into it. It's too bad. At the risk of being ostracised, I'll say that I liked the G20 a lot more than I do the Legacy. :?

My first thought at seeing that Silvia was "what does that put down?" Did you get a ride in it?

Those two pics of the TWs in the corner are so close to each other; nice timing!

Why do you keep driving around with your parking lights on?

well at about that time the sun was setting and right in the eyes of the people going the other way so i do it so its a little easier for people to see the me.... and its just a personal preference around dusk i just prefer to have my parking lights on then turn the headlights on when its dark enough.

You should turn on the headlights. Parking lights do comparatively very little to improve visibility, while headlights are designed for that purpose. Your headlights are minimally glaring anyway. Parking lights are actually supposed to indicate that you are parked, and for that reason it is illegal in most places in the country (and world) to drive with them on unless the headlights are also on.

What is the difference between parking lights and the orange DRLs that newer GM cars have? Beam pattern? The ones on C5 vettes are really prominent.

Those DRLs are actually running the turn signals all the time, so the difference is beam pattern as well as intensity. They're a stupid idea, though, but that's a whole other discussion.
