But west-coasters know what it is, right?

Hahhaha, yeah, wonderful quotes.

It'll always be a cult classic, I think.

Yeah, 420 was huge out in Oregon back in the late 80's early 90's. Then it hit big while I was in the Rocky MT states in the mid nineties. Then when I moved out here to the east coast in the mid-late 90's it seemed like it was just getting really big. Hey, maybe it's me, it migrates with me! That's the ticket! :D

You know what I've discovered since I've moved here? Like, nobody in Ohio has any idea what 420 is. Even hardcore bakers. It's weirding me out. And I don't even really know how to explain it, so I just point them to the Wikipedia article...
It depends what part. My high school that I graduated from memorialized 4/20. Even the teachers enjoyed the observance... My school was affectionately reffered to as Nordopia.

The majority of my friends in Orlando knew of and regularly celebrated 4/20 (and 4:20, both on the clocks and on video game timers - such as football quarters)

Haven't met anyone out here yet in the know, though.

The house number display at Lowes is all '123' except one that is '420'. I'll try to sneak a picture of it. I did a double take when I walked by it.

the high school I went to is called the "Postdam Sandstoners" because we had a huge sandstone quarry here back in the day...

the track team my junior year had shirts that said "STONERS- We smoke the competition"

I'll see if I can get ahold of someone from my HS that might have one I can get off them to take a pic of

That's awesome...

The best team name in the Orlando area was the Trojans, but the Stoners is obviously a far superior team name.

4:20 is always a current and worthy topic in my book. Just stop reading it if you're not down.

I found the name of the drugstore in Iowa very essential knowledge. You didn't need to know that? :)
