it makes a strange kind of whaaamp noise? it's really hard to describe... kind of like an NA car at full throttle with an intake..... it started doing it after the td05/awic install. it does it betwen 10hg and 3psi or so at a certain throttle point and only under a slight load. i think it has something to do with the crazy pcv system.. so we're going to re-route the pcv stuff to see if it helps.

on another note, laurel picked up her car today. i've never seen anyone smile so much and skip to their car  and she flogged the fuck out of it on the way out of the parking lot.... i'm so proud :-D

Meaning comparing an M3 shifter that's had a short-shift kit installed for the better part of two years to anything else is like comparing apples to oranges.

Might as well put my stock LGT shifter up against that of a Ferrari and think that an objective comparison could be derived.

Sweet; Hana's home!

I would guess that sound has something to do with the blowoff valve. If it does, it's harmless as long as it doesn't cause bogging or anything.

Well, l was comparing the m3 that l was driving to the STi. The Shifter in my Car feels Sloppy and inprecise andthe back end clunks a bit under heavy Shifting, but all in all, l'm stoked to have Hana back home. Now ljust need exhaust, hiqher boost, and a shift kit. And maybe a new diff mount. l love this car.

Oh yeah. And l think the speedo may be a little off, because 75 feels Closer to 65, but that may be just me.
