Sad to see it go but good luck selling it and with your future project.

Thanks Sacha!
$6500!
The price of a new dogbox and TurboXS Front mount alone is over $7000! Parts alone, plus an EJ22T, turbo, and one of the wolds best exhausts, this is a steal!

You have 6500 to buy the car, but not enough money to get from NY to MD? You could get a friend to drive you and you could just pay gas and fast food? That's fine - just curious

Talk with phill. I'm sure there's something he can work out with you.

The problem is the trailer that would come down and get both cars would be hooked to the truck with a 454 ci engine...might as well pull the gas station along with me.

Gas shouldn't be too bad.
I towed the silver car from Cleavland to Maryland. It was an F350 with the powerstroke though. Got 11mpg to ohio, and 14mpg back, go figure. Cost me about $260 in gas.
New York to Maryland (espically where I am located in Maryland) shouldn't be too bad on gas. Lots of level ground cruising.
Let me know!

NY to MD shouldn't be that bad...

W/O trailer that beast is getting about 8mpg. My trailer is huge....both cars would easily fit. I'm guessing around 6mpg (with trailer) over 800-1000 mile round trip. Just stretches the bank account to thin. Car price is awsome! But gas prices SUCK! Plus I have to pay the guy with the truck.
On second thought...I think I need to by a truck to match my trailer first.

Find another friend with a diesel!

If you don't want Phil's parts car, then you could catch a ride from a friend down, and drive Phil's car back. That wouldn't be too bad on the wallet.
Sorry to give you more suggestions than you asked for!

there is a CHEAP hotshot company Tazmanian freight
http://www.tazmanian.com/
i bet these guys would have a driver pick up both cars on a flatbed gooseneck trailer with a dually diesel 1-ton truck and have it delivered to NY for <$300
somehow, and I dont know how Tazmanian makes money...... but they sure do deliver CHEAP and FAST (my company deals with them all the time they kick everyone's ass every single time -- UPS Freight/Fedex freight/DHL/etc )
last time they drove a 26' box truck 900 miles one way IN ONE DAY, dropped their stuff off, picked up the stuff there they had to, and drove the 900 miles right back also IN ONE DAY. Two old guys in a box truck. Hauling azz....
