Cast-Iron is one material that is extremely cost efficient to cryo-treat. It responds very well.

But something like Billet Steel doesn't show the same benefits.

I still really like these brakes, but I am still using them with the original pads they likely came with on the LGT they were removed from. I'd like to get some Cobb Street pads, but haven't gotten around to it.

A larger master cylinder would be a very good thing to do with this upgrade, but I don't think it's necessary. Once again, the stock 00-04 LGT calipers are the same as the 02-06 WRX, and the 05LGT is larger, but not hugely so.

Pads will make all the difference.

I still haven't really pushed these hard, mostly because of ambient temps and timing, but they're certainly very able to stop this car promptly.

I'm planning to install the STI Brembo brakes on my Legacy.
I just bought the original STI rims, because those are the only wheels avaible with offset 53 that fits over the brakes!

I want to use Ferodo DS2500 brakepads and Mov'it calipers. 8)

Think that's good enough :-D (330x30mm)

Mov'it calipers? Never heard of them. Got pics and specs? I thought you were using the STi Brembo's?

Ferodo pads catch fire, from what I hear.

I'm sorry. My English went bad :?

The calipers are indeed STI Brembo's.

It's german. I don''t know any specs, but the test their material on the Nürburgring or Nordschleiffe
Take a look at their site. I don't think they make disc's for WRX calipers
