Is that an EA block on the bottom? I've never seen one torn apart.

I'm close enough! What's my prize?

BAC5.2

here's a few of the mistakes you made on the guessing of the parts

4 Legacy Turbo wheels (sans tires) they are actually Outback wheels (polished lip)

Turbo Crossmenber 91 Turbo legacy

EJ25 (phase 1) block (no internals) actually its a phase 2

EJ22T block half (looks like it's the drivers side) with an EJ25 crank in it its actually again a phase 2 ej25

Pedal box (from an RS?)

A water pump (probably a turbo pump) is behind the crossmember

A metal oil seperator plate

Ashtray

There is an EJ25 with pistons in it its actually the other half of the block with the crank laying in it

A rear main seal

Elmers glue

Sandals

Jack handle engine stand handle

Ratchet strap

A box of engine accessories (coolant crossover, fuel rails)

Turbo heat shield

A single-cam head in the background you were correct, but there's two of them.. and they are turbo ones too

A FRAM 4460 oil filter

A pot in the way back

A trunk mat under the cardboard box

Some misc. sockets amidst some stainless steel mesh line they are ej25 piston pins not sockets

That's about what I can make of all of it.

under the white blanket is the oil pan and separator plate from a ej22t

but good job guessing the parts.. man you suby guys are a weird group of ppl.. thats why i like you guys.. lol

Dang, I was hoping it was a potential 2.4L setup with the phase 1 block (hence the EJ22t block half guess with the crank laying in it).

well i've got a ej25 phase 1 in my car right now, that possibly splinter might get his hands on once it comes out of the chassis. As for me, I want to keep that 2.2L good rod stroke ratio.. but just imagine the garage sale we'll be having once the two different motors are finished.. hehe..
