Matt Monson wrote:I don't know if I should laugh or cry. I am really happy to see my old RS-RA put to good use. But seeing all these pics and this build makes me miss it and regret never doing the build myself. Oh well. You can't live in the past, and I wouldn't be settling into my new home without the $$$ I got from that engine. Splinter paid my closing costs. :-D
Now you know how I feel after seeing my old car make almost 300whp on a stock motor and that tiny turbo.

Sounds like it'll be a nice build. What are you going to do for cams? Anything fun and lumpy?

I still haven't found the grind on those cams. I know I had it at one point, but just can't come up with the numbers. So much of my technical documents are printed, and not digital, and it's all mixed up with the move. I will see if come across it while I am unpacking. I seem to remember that they have a silly amount of lift to them...

I had my sunfire cam done at a shop in Langley. At the same time I was getting my SS. I told him about the SS i got and he said he had a really good profile, I did not ask much about it but he said he made the profile him self. If u like i can get his number for you.

My sunfire's cam came out 100% and i love it.
