Someone other than me might have to take charge of this, this year. I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to get all the time off I need to come, but I'm reasonably sure I can swing it.
[edit] If I can swing it, I might just be showing up a little later in the afternoon is all. I can trade a Friday shift, getting off at around 1:00pm . . . which wouldn't put me at the park THAT late. I just won't be among the first there, like last year.

Maybe we can push it back a week to the 9-10.
How about checking availability for those times?

i have been calling a couple of places but the automation system is so bad and they have been keeping me on hold for a good 20 mins now.
heres a couple of idea w/o any ideas of availability
Willamette mission state park
Champoeg State Heritage Area
---------------------------------------------
and another idea of what we might be able to do is....one of my best friends have roughly 10,000 acres west of Corvallis Oregon, with a river, mountains and grassy plains. i can see if i can pull if off. it would be free and has great scenery.
chances are because we have waited so long to get things planned we might have trouble getting into a state park....
if we can lets try to get a roll call of how many people want to go and can got the weekend of aug 3-5 and how many cars were going to have

we did the first legacy central meet in southern oregon for the california people (medford area) and a total of 1 person from california showed up and i'm still bitter about all that driving for no reason
oh, and i'll be there

kleinkid is ready

I want to be there! I need to know which weekend asap to try to get off from work.
If we can't find somewhere in OR, maybe WA this time? That would suck for CA people, but we outnumber them!

i completly understand... its just tougher getting the gas money together... and the timing.... but if it must be... it must be...
can we maybe hook up with WCSS or something for a list and see who'd be interested.... or maybe who signed up who owned a legacy???
just let me know if you need me to do anything... i'll jump on it like rice on white! (thats right, you heard me)
