UPDATE: This Wednesday 3-21 I'll be visiting the car to rob as many parts off of it as I can. I will take photos of everything and respond to everyone as efficiently as I can. Look for an update here by the end of the week. I have a list of parts that everyone has requested. I won't be able to get everything on Wednesday but I should make a good dent. Thanks for your patience.

UPDATE I have contacted most of you by email or PM to let you know that photos and pricing are now available at the following link. I pulled a lot of parts and some are unclaimed so take a look and you might find something you need. The remainder of the car is being hauled off this weekend so this is our last chance to get a few parts off it.

Parts are probably all gone, but I was wondering how difficult your 5mt swap was? I have a '97 impreza that I fried the engine on and want to throw the tranny in. I bought a '93 legacy ss for $650 with a crazy 4eat problem and a crack in the radiator. I figure I have most of the parts I need from the impreza, but would need a few odds and ends let me know if you can, also if you still have it, how much for the radiator? thanks!

auto to manual sawp is not hard from what i hear.. i havnt done it but im sure that your wiring is all there as well as the mounts for the clutch...

Hey, XeviousR, never mind about the radiator. just the question about the tranny swap. From what I have gathered from reading stuff on here and some other subie sites the worst part is just getting all the parts together, but since I have my poor donor car, this should not be a problem. I am just looking for someone who has actually done it and know of any little snags I may run into. Also I am lucky they both have 3.9:1 so I get to keep the LSD. I am worried about the drive shaft length, though.

The tranny swap was a pain in the butt. I'll send you a PM about the radiator.

Ah yes. The wiring is no problem, the only problems are mechanical as you suspect. You reminded me about the drive shaft. I had to buy a drive shaft from a junk yard. The Impreza drive shaft won't work. You need a drive shaft from a Legacy 5spd. Unfortunately I didn't think to save mine. Shoot.
