hey stipro did you sand the rims and then paint them. i want to get some subaru rims but they are always beat up. yours are deffinently hot would like to know how you did it.

Yes I did sand the rims. First I used 180 grit, then layed down two coats of epoxy primer. Next I wet sanded with 320 grit, and putdown two coats of primer sealer. Wet sanded again this time with 600 grit, and then 800. I layed four coats wet on wet of base color, and 6 coats of clear. Hope that helps :)

will have to try. your rims look brand new. did yours have dents and scrathes in them

Yup, one of the wheels had to be sent out to get machined, the other three were in decent shape. I did have to fill a few dents and scratches though. I just used glaze putty and wet sanded them smooth. You have to use the good glaze putty though, not the cheap stuff.
