I did not use the sixth wire so just tape it off if you want.
i just wanna know if this correct and where i can get
and what kind of relay i need.
The info is correct because my foglights are working :)
As for a relay, just get any 5 pin bosch style relay
i would like to know also where do i hook up the wire
when you said ground you mean anywhere to the chassis?
where do i get the 12v power same source of the radio?
and illumination accessory where do i found that ?
All of the 12v, ground, and accessory for the switch, came from the defrost switch wiring, IIRC the wire colors are even the same on both. So just match them up.
also those two wire on those fogs "black/white black stripe"
where do they go.
White gets switched 12v power from the relay, and the black goes to chassis ground.

Are those the same as the 98RS fog lights? They look extremely similar from what I remember.

No, they are quite a bit different than the RS fogs. These are actually factory EDM/JDM Legacy fog lights made specifically for these cars.

Are you absolutely sure? They look EXTREMELY similar to the 98 RS fog lights. They only used the style for part of the year so they are really hard to find. I wonder if they used left over Legacy fog lights lol

Edit: Im having trouble finding a good picture. Part of the problem is that there is a plastic cover which hides the actual shape of the fog light

There's mine. Finally got a chance to tear it all down and hack it all up. End result was painted all flat black and re-assembled, and then aimed. I also installed a set of cheapy 10K HIDs,($35 eBayDM). Streetlights are illegal in my town so I need all the light I can get. Yellow 100watt H3s were plugged into both sets of fogs. While I was in there I sectioned the hard bumper beams to make room for front mount and piping. Ill keep posting.

PS: If anyone knows of a 1st or 2nd gen white and grey two-toned Forester in Lake Havasu City, AZ., its dumped and has yellow lights in front and looks WAY COOL, but I want to talk to him! He launched on me a little while ago and due to a toasted clutch at the time I was dead in the water, but by the time I caught him we were well over 90 and at about 100 my passenger side front corner lense decided to commit suicide! It left the body side connecter and the little useless screw tab but took the rest. I tried to find it after but it must have burned up i was haulin' so much A$$!! lOl He gave me a thumbs up but I dont know if it was at the random imprompt-to weight reduction, or my car in general. I own 2 of like 8 subarus in my town of 50,000, so seeing a cool one is a rare treat.
