I got the TBE used locally....so no shipping. I paid 500 and then 50 to a private mechanic to weld about 3-4 inches ioto the midpipe section. The mounting hooks had to be adjusted a tiny bit.....so for 550 its nice.

The power gain is great and the sound is perfect

Yeah, you can't go wrong with Borla or Invidia either for that combo price. The Borla exhaust alone is $650 new. So you definitely made out on the deal!

2.5" exhaust isn't really much of a restriction till around 300whp or so (you will see gains before then, but nothing significant, and your more likely to boost creep and can sometimes loose torque depending on the turbo). unless your using a 20g or bigger, or you like a loud exhaust, i would go with a 2.5". is quieter too, which is better imo.

i have the original hks turbo 2.5" catback on my celica, and it sounds so sweet . its low, quiet tone, and then really opens up on top.
