"MAIC" refers to Mid-Atlantic Region of Nasioc. The car is in Maryland.

I need a blower motor for my 91 SS, if you decide to part it out.

Hello, I'm new to the forums, my name is Zac. I'm not very knowledgable about vehicles, let alone my own Subaru and I'm not familiar with a lot of the abbreviations I've seen you all using (I've been lurking for a bit before I decided to register) but I'd love to learn.

Intro aside, the fill tube or filler neck (the tube that goes from the cap where you fill the tank to the tank itself) is leaking on my '93 Legacy Wagon. I'm not sure if you need more information than that, but if you'd be willing to part out that tube I would be more than happy to find out more info about my wagon. At my local subie shop, replacing that part brand new would cost me $200 incl labor. Thanks a ton. I'm at work now but I'll be around again later this evening when I head home.

Again, I've been lurking for a while and decided that, from reading a lot of threads, it's worth the time learning about my car so that I can not only save myself a lot of money but enjoy the experience of taking care of it to extend its life. I'm more of a computer and graphic design guy but I'm a fast learner. I hope I can eventually be of some value to this forum!

Well nevermind. On my way up to the bodyshop today, my exhaust system blew just as I was turning onto the last road to the shop. It broke just after where the y-tube joins (a result of rust, cold weather, and rough driving on my part). I think I'm in the market for another car. Thanks anyways.

Wow, sorry to hear about your bum luck. Sounds like you might have a rolling shell to sell as well!

I might add, I'm going to give this just a few more days for the rolling shell. Then, I will begin to entertain all requests for parts that I have received thus far.

Now posted on Nasioc. See ad:

Thanks,
Joe

I've received a few tepid inquiries into buying the car as is. I will give it a week or so to let everything shake out, then I will begin to part the car out. I have a number of parts requests thus far. I will honor those requests once its clear the car will not be sold as is.

I'll take the 'Turbo AWD' decal, if you do part it.

I don't believe it has the Turbo AWD decal on it. I will look for you.

Bump for last minute rolling shell sale. She will begin part out this coming weekend.

About that driver's door handle, does it get stuck because of damage to the internal mechanism, or because the handle is bent?

If the handles are usable I want all 4 door handles. I don't need the mechanism they are attached to.

I'm not sure why it sticks. It sorta seems as though the handle twists sideways as you lift it up. I'll look at it a bit more closely and get back to you.

Update on the car status. No one made an offer on the rolling chassis on either of the forums I've posted it on. Craigslist didn't pan out either. So the vehicle will begin part out. It's just too freaking cold out today to start pulling parts!

Hey man, I'll be getting on it real soon. I won't leave you hanging! Do you have paypal? Let me know and we can start working out details.

To everyone else that has inquired about parts, I will be emailing, pming, etc shortly.
