Does anyone currently know where to purchase the "older style drop links" or something like this? I just got an 18mm rear swaybar from a 1997 Outback wagon and the drop links for my 91 Legacy sedan do not match. The Outback has the "C" style and I dont want to upgrade to that if I don't have to...
My suspension looks like the first picture in this post and I need the custom drop link like the one in the second picture.

Your best bet is to try and get some generic poly bushings and make some spacers to attach the bar you got to your existing end links.
I do not believe whiteline sells just those drop links. You can try posting in the parts shed to see if anyone has a set of the whiteline drop links.

Will do. Thanks for you quick response! If I make a custom set using hemi joints on both sides and no polly bushings, other then NVH, do you think that I would run into any other issues?

I am thinking about making a custom set of links. Either using heim joints (to minimize any binding) or making a let like aegean931 did in the 4th picture of this post. That is why I am courious about NVH and any other unforseen problems. I called and e-mailed Whiteline and got no response. So please let me know what you think (I have read most of your posts and it is interesting to see your knowledge and experiance increase thru the years...) Anyhu, please provide any insight that you may have.

I've heard good things about the fender braces though so I'm not going to discount everything entirely.
Anyhoo, as mentioned in the "installing a rear swaybar" stickied thread, the only swaybars that will fit are those from a 90-99 Legacy because of the spare tire well. I was going to find out how far exactly the bump needed to be "moved" out of the way awhile back but the shop I was at didn't have any 20mm wrx swaybars. Additionally the STi bars are wider and will not work unless you swap to the lateral links like the ones Nico has.
If you could find parts from a 93+ you could use the more common C-link setup and be better off. I've heard yes and no about mixing the two types of swaybars.
If the sti bar wont work then neither will 92-99, so one of those things is wrong because they are the same length. I swapped to 92*94 lateral links and bought a 96-99 bar through rallitek, it came labelled as 04-07 sti, called them because i thought they sent the wrong one and found out the bar was the same. Fits perfectly fine in my 92-94 links(but yes the bump needs the be addressed).
