But check your battery v. first. Its likely that, with the car off, you'll have <12v. to begin with.

True, but I was reading 0v.

Ok well I finally got around to pulling the relay today. Now I'm no electrician, but here are two of my concerns.

1) I'm not getting 12v to the fuel pump, BUT when I plug in the test mode connectors the fuel pump relay still clicks.

2) This relay really doesn't look like it's been fried in any way...

P.S. Sorry for the low quality pictures. I used my phone.

If it still clicks when you plug in the connectors, then get a fuel pressure gage and check your fuel pressure. That will tell whether it's the pump or not.

Well I can hear that the pump isn't turning on and I'm not getting the 12v back to the pump at the harness.

Can't you check if there is voltage coming out of the relay?

That's what I want to do. I just don't know which wires are the ones that go to the fuel pump.

Try them all then.

Wait, dumb question -- did you check the connector under the passenger side of the rear seat? That one seems to be prone to failure. If it's gone bad you're likely to see little char marks on the plastic housing near the relevant pin.

No char marks whatsoever.

If you want to know more about the wiring, look at the wiring diagrams Josh has posted.

SO! Everything is fixed!! Yay.

I replaced the relay and finally got power to the pump, but the pump still didn't turn on so I went out and bought a Walbro 255. Installed that and everything works great!!

It even got rid of a little hesitation issue I was having. I'm so glad. Hahaha.

probably having a bad relay killed the motor.
