I just got back from Amsterdam. Saw three Subarus over 11 days, so they're not very common...

heh, Onno, do you 4x4 your car much.

JKJK, your car looks nice. I kind of wouldn't mind some gold rims for my wagon (like some 04-05 STI BBS).

nope, the person bought the car because he wanted those rims
That was the reason for stripping and selling it in parts.
SubaruNation wrote:ya, are those cars turbo'd at all?
no, none of the 3 legacy's are tubo;d

@DLC, no they are not common at all
Best cars ever build, but very poor marketing strategy here

Nice turbo'd Ford Focus RS behind you. I almost snagged myself one of those bumpers when I had my '01 Focus ZX3. Instead I ended up importing a Lumma bumper from a fellow forum member who lived in Germany.
And as for having the that famous track so damn close to you, you ultimately SUCK!!!

I mean that in the nicest way possible. I run that track so many times playing Forza Motorsports and Tourist Trophy. I have the dream of going there some day in my lifetime to run the track. *sigh*

Trip to the nurburgring:
Take the cheapest flight to Dusseldorf Airport,
Rent the smallest car you can get.
Drive to the Ring,
Book a room at,
www.ringrooms.de or something else,
Rent a race car, (or use ur airport rental)
http://www.rent-racecar.de/
Or an Alfa:
http://www.75experience.co.uk/index.htm
Then contact me for questions and a meet at the ring!
It will cost a lot of money but it's a lifetime experience !

That would be cool, but I want to take something I own to drive over there. Then I can come home and wear that badge of pleasure proudly...

LOve those rims man. Ive found a few cheap knockoffs here but they just dont quite look right. I may end up with a set of old school oz wide five spokes but youve by far got the best looking wheels for our car IMO.

Bought myself a birthday present !!
It's a gift from heaven, for the first time I can really feel the car !!
---
Somebody sold only 1 seat from a japanese car.
So this is the passanger seat from an imported STI wich i mounted on the drivers side !!!
The seat is superb and just slightly used,

You extremely lucky bastard!!! Those seats are SICK!!!!!!

+1 the STi seats are nice.
If you put a little yellow 555 sticker on your car I'm sure you could remind folks of Subaru Rally cars (you already have the gold rims / Blue paint).

In a couple of months a set of RS-R springs will lower the car about 3 cm! And i will have some Group N Sti topmounts !!
(the rubber that connects the springs to the body is rockhard)
Then I will maybe buy a 555 sticker (but not a large one)
-----------
The day before yesterday I bought a Subaru Justy for my home-work-home travel miles. Now I can really work on the Legacy because I don't need it every day,
and the mileage won't go that fast!! I will use the Legacy for pleasure only like a circuit day, a Subaru meeting or a small vacation !!
I hope the Justy will bring me to work (and back) everyday and I save about 35 dollar a week on gas !!!
1 gallon of gas is in Holland 11 dollars.

wowee.
that's 3 times what i paid for a gallon
and nice seats

And figure the dollar exchange rate isn't the greatest right now too...

Premium is 4.50 a gallon in NYC.
If it were $11/gal I'd use a scooter to get around on (54MPH & 120MPG @ WOT) in the city...

Yes we're getting off topic, but the itty bitty SmartCars are starting to look kinda appealing at this point...or go all electric.

We all put gas in our cars and just keep on smiling!!!!
You guys have a war to finance, so it compensates (not funny)
[/off topic]
Now i'm going to clean my dashboard!!
Due to special wind forces clouds filled with sahara sand/dust comes down over europe when it raines. So my car is covered with sand and dust. (see pictures above) It even comes right through the air vents ...

I've been dealing with killer pollen this season constantly causing all of my vehicles to be tinted yellow. Wash the Legacy & literally 30 minutes later you can run your hand across the hood & have pollen on your fingers.
