Its the kit for the GC/GM Impreza. I decided on those after listening to Jason Grahn's experience with them (also his story of several suspension companies like Tein and JIC taking pictures and notes at his H&R booth at SEMA).

The top of the dampener said Bilstein on the top. I had to send one out to get rebuilt due to me running them close to max ride height. Since the Street Performance coilover from H&R only has adjustable spring perches, running that high is very hard on the dampeners.

Hey Jamal I was reading some of your comments in another thread about people setting the dampers too stiff on coilovers. I totally agree with you that it may help turn in and whatnot, but you do lose overall grip with it.

Obviously I can play around and figure out exactly what I like, but what would you suggest as a good 'ballpark' setting for the Bilsteins?

I don't have the slightest idea. But generally you want to start at full soft, and adjust them stiffer. There will be a point where the benefits are less defined and that's pretty much where you stop.
