Wow - a EJ20G shortblock for $100 sounds good!

You can put the ej22t heads on the 20g & use the car while you build the new motor....

That seems like it would be quite the dog... seeing as the 20g has way less torque and the 22t heads have no top end...

You may be surprised as the EJ20G shortblock is meant to be used with the big cc DOHC heads.
Once the small cc sohc heads are on there the compression will be higher than the 8.5:1 EJ20Gs usually have - ? 9ish:1 CR.

It should be a surprising little motor.

Not really...I have ridden in a car with such a setup, and it was far from doggy.

weird setup. i went to the mechine shop and for 20 thousants over bore and hot tanked. plus hot tanking the heads is about $142 total. cool..
