The lip arrived today. Wasn't too pleased with the way they crammed it into that box though. But it seems like that bend will come out since it's flexible polyurethane. I stepped on it for a min and the bend came out 75%. You can definately tell it's a knockoff by the quality but it'll work fine I think. It should still look pretty good on the car and a hell of a lot better than garage door trim.

Jesus, I wouldn't be too happy about that either But I guess for $65 you can't be too picky. Does look like it should be fine once mounted though. I like that it's flexible at least.

Yeah it'll be fine once it's mounted. It needs to have a couple inches trimmed off the ends. Plus you'll need to bend the sides in because they stick out but it looks like either with the screws alone or with the help of a little heat it should be fine.

Got the lip on today. It took a bit of heat gun work to get it to fit properly. The sides stuck out pretty far and needed to be heated and bent in. Haven't decided how I want to trim the ends yet but I did have to cut over an inch off just to get it screwed in place.

Well considering no one makes a lip for this car that you can get in this country it shouldn't be all that surprising

Hey Jake, did you have to use a heat gun to get the OEM lip to fit?

Nope, i made one triangle relief cut in each corner to bring the lip in a little more on the sides.

I see. Makes sense. Good idea. Probably better than heat.

Nope, still have the BBS's. using 2 sets of wheels and the other set is for autox'ing lol
