i think you should send this picture and your story into Subaru and see if they do anything about it and then tell them to start making cars like they used and not all wierd and such. i think there are enough people off this forum that could turn there stories in and Subaru might make one of there "it's what makes a Subaru a Subaru" commercial.

Im sorry to read this but im really glad you're OK,

Atleast the motor will live on in a new shell, right? Still sucks that this happend though.

The motor and transmission, sunroof, struts/springs, hubs, brakes, 2 rear tires, a/c lines/compressor, shift knob lmao . But ya really does suck still :(

Bad news is water pump done oil pump only thing probably good is the bareblock and the transmission case cracked too :(

Yeah that's the problem with subarus, head on collision usually eats baby jesus.

BC5RA on TSC was looking for a EJ22T block!

I'm not surprised, it's only aluminum. I could tell by the position of your shifter in an interior shot that everything got pushed back a good amount, which would take some force. And there's that head and pulleys near it. Better smashed under the car absorbing the impact than directing it into the passenger compartment.

That guy from Ireland (I think) is looking for 2 blocks as well.
