What model do they test? They don't get one of those "used car" challenges and end up with one of our 1st gens, do they? If so I gotta find that episode!

Edit 2: What rubbish... the Legacy was discussed for all of 5 seconds and his comments were not kind. Must be another episode where they find a Legacy they all "like".
I really would like to see how one of our 1st gen SS models would hold up to some of their used car challenges... anyone know if they ever did that with a Legacy?
It was when they were naming off a list of cars they liked. I believe the first one they mentioned was the Ford Mondeo. Clarkson didn't like the Legacy with the diesel due to low power and performance of it.

A Subaru R-2. But the engine was shot so they dumped in an engine from a Yamaha RZV 500r. No idea how plausible that is.

I've noticed a few 2nd gen legacy wagons and sedans in several tv shows like csi newyork. Sometimes parked but easily spotted in scenes and some are the charaters daily drivers

You guys gonna roast me for this, but Bella Swan's mom has an Outback in Twilight. To semi-redeem myself, there's a DL/GL wagon in front of the Circle K in "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" where Bill and Ted meet their future selves.
