well the car starts and sounds real good. one more delay though. the tps is shot so they are going to have one by monday so i can finally pick up the subie. rather wait a lil longer than be broke down some where. the idle is way high and they said it shifted hard from 2nd to 3rd. they scanned it again and came back as a bad tps

Yes, it will need to be relocated. It should be tied into the intake manifold. The easiest and best spot to tee it into is on the passenger side intake runner where the stock MAP sensor gets its pressure from. Just use a vacuum tee fitting in that line.

Make sure to plug that hole in the intake elbow that they. I'm kind of surprised they did that....that's not right.

Can you recap what you have all done, what the shops have checked, and specifically what it's doing...or lack of doing.

it shifts hard first threw 3rd and just wines up not engaging into 4th. fluid is clean and full. the trans shop said he's still checking things out

When was the last time it was working properly, and what work all has been done since that time it was working properly and now?

it worked when i test drove it. then after the motor was rebuilt and installed it stopped working

Well then I would think that it could be an issue with the motor or perhaps wiring harness, but unfortunately there are a lot of variables that it could be. I can certainly understand your frustration.

That sucks! It seems like the shops are just passing it from one to another and don't want to deal with it. Are you paying them or are they supposed to be fixing their fuck up?
