Sounds more like a big vacuum leak. Double check all the hoses to see if they are on secure?

Last time I forgot a vacuum line, the car wouldn't even stay running. I've had the battery disconnected for over a day now and I'm gonna check all the grounds under the hood and see where that gets me. I'm still a bit baffled by the TPS code cause the TPS tests just fine, according to the Haynes manual.

Double post, oh well. I fixed all the issues today and it was something super simple, make me feel a bit stupid for not thinking to check what I did. If I hadn't met up wit hbeatersubi sunday, I don't think I would have found the issue. His suggestion to check all the grounds led me to check the two square connectors that go to the motor and those weren't totally together. I was able to simple unplug them by pulling alone, so I made damn sure they did click together and all the issues are gone. The oil light works again, the stumbling is gone, and there are no codes. I am so relieved that its fixed and working properly again. Now I can go back to getting regular unleaded and going anywhere I want.

Good deal. Always makes you feel stupid, but then relieved when you find the stupid mistakes.
Guarantee you won't make those mistakes again.

I've never messed up the timing again on my engine, and I've reset the timing three times since the first time I spent a day trying to figure out why it wouldn't start.
