Thank you!

I have put a Black suede headliner in my 04 STi and my Legacy. My 00 swapped Impreza I had a Blue Suede Headliner. its amazing how much the headliner can change the feel on the inside of the car.

an issue i have not been able to figure out.. why the RPMS randomly will just climb at IDLE (up to 2500RPM). Also the battery and brake light come on randomly. i have read that it could be the alternator. The alternator tests fine, i am thinking i have a bad ground somewhere. yaaaayy.

but no more oil leak! *fist pump*

i think it could be an o2 sensor, MAF or TPS.

most likely 02 and MAF causing problems.

Car looks great, you have done really good work. The only advice I'd give is to find a better spot for your filter. Sitting over the engine bay like that it has got to be just soaking up and sucking in heat, working against your fmic. Plus you have no distance between the filter and the MAF which can cause the MAF to get bad readings due to turbulence and such, especially around idle. Try to find somewhere that you can shield it from the engine bay, preferably by one of the fenders so you can expand the opening into the fender well and get nice chilly air all the time.

hmm maybe thats why i am having such bad fuel mileage is due to my custom/ghetto intake.

I never thought of that!

I will try to fab up a new intake. thank you for your input and advice!

picked up a downpipe and up pipe (3") for $40 on friday. going to order a grimmspeed adapter to convert from 3" to 2.5". then install manual boost controller. then wham bam. then its to fix a few more maintenance items.

one day i will get some window tint.. haha.

MBC for overboost protection?

correct, the electronic will help regulate different barometric pressures while the MBC will keep it locked in from going above a preset limit.

I heard it works pretty well, but can be a pain in the rear end to get it set up. i may ditch the EBC and run just MBC.

Yeah, that's a good way to run things. I was thinking of doing that in my SS before I sold it but ended up just using the MBC on its own.
