Sooooo my trunk leaks... She runs but needs a battery and a full tank of super. Anyone know what the weather seal p/n is?

ok, so I put my 94 ej22t into my newly acquired 92SS. I have been having stumbling idle and stalling at idle issues since i swapped it over. I just replaced my maf and temp sensors and now its worse... no codes and i need this running yesterday as my gfs car died recently. I've read through a ton of posts and just can't figure out what on god's green earth is wrong with this damn engine... no cel or anything either...

Double check everything. How far did you tear into the ej22t you put into your 92?

Tore it out of the wagon, tore off the auto garbage and put on the flywheel and clutch goodies and popped it into the bay

Just tore into the intake over the course of the week put it together ran meh then put on the new maf and temp sensor and shtf

How did the engine run before you took it out of your 94? Were there any sensor differences between the 92 & your 94?
Why are you swapping the 92's engine out? Did it run before or have any other issues? Any additional info you can provide will be helpful.

Rod knock, 94 ecu went into the 92 as well no sensor changes. Ran fine when cold, never had it warmed up

Did you try it with the 92 ecu at all to see if there was any difference? Maybe try cleaning the IAC valve. Just a few things I would try if it were me.

Case is off of the 92 ecu so i don't trust that... And how does one clean an IACV? Gonna pop the old maf back on tomorrow also

Maf sensor cleaner or brake parts cleaner. If you search for it there should be some details.

was really weird, i changed out the throttle body and coil/plug wires and all is right with the world lol now need to bleed out the power steering but she runs like a beast now!
