looks good spencer! you should do a video of the car taking off and such i wanna hear that exhaust with the car moving....
BTW there just happens to be a WUSTHOF ad in the bottom right corner, never heard of them but my friend worked for Cutco and those things are crazy! exepensive as all hell but if you can afford them why not? haha

The tires are 215/45r17s Just regular old Potenza RE92s... These tires arent nearly as bad as I once thought... they do decent in the rain and did alright in the snow... Although I could spin all for in 4th gear

And yes... Cutco is expensive... but totally worth it... Working for them has ruined me... totally ruined me... I use anyone elses knives and I damn near break out my sample kit to use!

haha, yea I couldnt believe those scissors cut through that penny, and I cant remember if it was a knife or those scissors, but they cut straight through leather no problem haha.

I might have missed it since I haven't read your whole build journal, but IM guessing that is 3" TBE, with what muffler?

The table knives cut through the leather... You can even cut through the leather with a cutco straight edge while pushing straight down...

Blown Motor and Tranny

Anyone have a turbo tranny that has reasonable miles and is in good working condition??

Its probably going to get an ej20g until I'm able to rebuild my 2.5L

OMFG, i can't believe that shit. They probably just thought it was a regular ol legacy and just about shit their pants when they gased it. Damn good thing the dumbass got caught. At least you got the car back, better than starting from ground zero. Do you get any reimbursement for the damage done?

I have EVERY intention of persuing him to the furthest extent of the law... and probably past.........

He was caught trying to cash a blank check that my mom had given me awhile back that was never used...

The check cashing place he went to called my moms ex husband (it was from their old joint account and his cell number was on the check) and he said hed be right there to verify and then he called the cops.

There was heroin found in my car and he had used a shaved subaru key to get in and start it... meaning he was specifically after my car. probably having scouted it and getting a shaved key.

Hes being charged for multiple things...

Check Fraud
Forgery
Heroin Possession

And I think something else... but I cant remember what...

I have had a tranny up for sale in the for sale section from my 91 SS. It's got 170K miles on it and Jake said it shifted good and should be good to go. I bought the car without an engine so I couldn't tell you how it shifts.

I had it up for $350 originally, dropped it to $275. I'll give it to you for $225.

Got an engine!!

Its an old legacy ej20g. Gonna replace HG, timing belt, front and rear main, intake mani gaskets and reseal the oil pump then throw it in.

So since I have to rebuild my 2.5L well... basically just build a whole new motor...

Heres what I'm thinking

257 case - have
2008 STi Crank... the Nitride treated one (PN 12200AA400) - $300 at my cost
Eagles and Wisecos - $800 (sticking w/ my 9.1:1 CR

too much fun)
ACL Bearings - $150
257 HG - $70
Misc Gaskets - $100 (have tons of new gaskets already)
ej25d heads - have

DIY Port and Polish
ej20r Cams - Picking up. trading for them
Shims - $16-140 depending on what I need.
08 STi Oil Pump - $110
08 STi Water Pump - $140
Oil Cooler

- Came on my 20g

V2 STi 20g Manifold Wrinkle Black - Have
480cc Yellow Top Injectors - Have
EVO III 16g - $400 (know a friend who has one)
Link G3 ECU - $1000 (probably buying w/ from my renters insurance coverage of the stolen items from my car)

Probably going to reuse a bunch of stuff... like my clutch and other random tid bits.

Its happening. Will be done by WCSS shooting for a reliable 300atw

Planning on spending about 2000-2300 not including the Link. That comes out of a different fund than just the regular "car" fund.
