Saw this SS in the employee parking at Costco in Tumwater, WA the other day. Very nice condition and very stock.

^I love your car Kimo... 90-91 front ends are awesome compared to the sucky 92-94's.

Re: Spotted Thread
Thanks! I agree. Its so much more stylish than the facelift version. It really captures that early 90s japanese car look.

I only wish I didn't have to have a front plate and I could use jdm or netherlanr rear plate.

Re: Spotted Thread
^I'd like to do a 90-91 front on my 92, but never looked into how much modification is needed. Cause I do like the 92-94 rear ends better than the 90-91's. It will be, a bastard child lol!

Re: Spotted Thread
Oh yeah it looks good. I like the facelift tail lights better as well but only marginally. It takes away from the old school look a bit. Ask Florin about it, he's done the swap on his 94. Looked awesome too. Until he put it into a wall drifting at PIR.

Re: Spotted Thread
Talked with a guy in a 2nd gen at a light. He managed to get the sti weather vane on to his legacy pretty well. didn't have time to ask about it a lot, but i got the impression it was a relatively easy fit.
Re: Spotted Thread

Re: Spotted Thread
Sorry, I'm not sure what the actual name is. I usually hear it referred to as a weather vane.

Re: Spotted Thread
Oh ok, yeah it's a roof spoiler or that's probably the best name I can give it

lol, thanks Josh. Roof spoiler makes more sense, but weather vane sounds maximum radness!
And i just realized there's another example only a few posts up. way to go me.

Re: Spotted Thread
I saw a stock red 1990 turbo legacy today. The paint was rough.
It was in a parking lot for a church next to the local sav-a-lot. I was totally tempted to leave a note on the car saying I was willing to buy it.
It would be a fun car

I've left notes on cars like that, some people get offended about that. I was cussed out once for touching it.

I always think about doing that but I have yet to do it. Did you mean 91 turbo legacy? There was no 90 turbo legacy.maria24017 wrote:I saw a stock red 1990 turbo legacy today. The paint was rough.

Spotted this at the Starbucks by Fred Meyers on Thrasher's Corner in Bothell.
Thought it was amusing. Or i'm completely ignorant of something that I probably should know.
