I had been thinking about adding the side markers as turn signals too. Good to know I'd have to cut into the fender.

Yes, However when cutting the holes, after you make our outline with a metal point, the lines on the sides actually need to be cut inside your line, probably 1/16th of an inch. Mine were a little too big, i ended up heating the plastic clip on the back of the side markers to open the tab up some more so they wont fall out of the fender.

In other news, i did alot of sanding and prep work for paint this weekend. the hood turned out great so far.

-I do have to ask though, since I haven't really payed attention to the pre-facelift styles, are the bumpers and grilles the same on SS and non SS body's? I ask cause, coming across the parts I'll need for this may be slim, coming from an SS. The base models are a dime a dozen here, but the SS's are still fairly rare, especially 90-91.

I have never seen any difference on the 1991 grills both na and turbo. Yes the prefaced bumpers are way different than post. The post face is about 2-4 inches longer. There is no way to make a 92 bumper look good with 91 lights, or vise versa. Realistically its all or nothing.

I swapped my whole core support for this mod.

Yeah its going to be a hard find. Trying to find someone parting out a 91 turbo isn't easy.

Well i took some time this morning to do my corner lights and bumper beam, much happier now. The bumper skin still has a bubble under the RH headlight, took the heat gun to it but it wont go down

I dont like how the corner lights are just markers on the PREs . IMO the shortness of the 91 front end with the lights,grill and bumper and sidemarkers of the 92 woulda been the shit.

Actually i think they did only blink because both pairs of wires were wired together on a 2 prong plug

The pre facelift front end looks great on there. I'm so glad I was able to find a 91 to start with. Do you know what fmic that is or at least the dimensions? I'm going to add one to mine when I start upgrading, and that one looks like it fits pretty nicely.
