Indeed... a clear viewing of the underside of my car has made that clear. Our headers look terrible, and they're not even headers! Cast manifolds on each side! Thats definately got to be an upgrade I consider later. Where the four outlets meet before the turbo, this is where I'd want to try and put an EGT probe? I have a clamp-on style, I'd want a straight section of pipe to use that.
Don't mind me. My o2 sensor is on my downpipe. I wasnt looking in my car when I wrote that. Thats what I get for thinking I may have a photographic memory, which obviously I do not.

OK... fair warning to any who want to attempt this procedure.
The t-bird housing and the stock inlet elbow have to be milled down at a machine shop to fit past the intake manifold and for various other reasons. The t-bird inlet will NOT work not no way not no how.
Also, we had an incredible time removing the bearing housing plate/ oil slinger thingie (the plate behind the compressor wheel) from the center section of the turbo. "twist and pull", my ass. After we butchered it up a bit with some long nose pliers it finally came out.
Then when we went to put that plate back together, no matter what we did we couldnt get the piece with the two round clips back in. Ended up cracking that plate, now I'm looking for a new one.
What is the trick to removing the plate anyway? And what is the trick to installing its center piece without cracking things? Help!

The part about the compressor housing getting milled is in my post I think. Loosen up all the up pipe mounts and pull it towards the rear of the engine bay to get the last bit of space. I would mill one for you, it's easy for me but I'm not anybhere near the shop...
Use the stock inlet, you will have to drill new holes. Clock the turbo so the outlet is pointed level towards the drivers side.
As for the rebuild I ended up not doing it as my stock center section was fine.
