I sent an inquiry to SOA with the vin number. It looks like it is all original not swapped or otherwise. I know as of today there are more 69 camaro z28s then were ever produced due to cloning. If I get a response I will post it.

SOA is sticking with their story so I guess until I run across across some more original 92SS 5 speed sedans with good documentation I guess it stands.

It's totally false. I've seen plenty of them. Maybe not with documentation but who would convert all the turbo parts over to so many 92 legacys including hoods, bumpers, badges, engine, tranny, etc etc.

I didn't see what the motive was for SOA lying about this is? Or is SOA just making a mistake? I see more wagons 93-94 but actually not many sedan 5 speeds. After 16-17 years I think alot have been changed around. I think if there was a thread for people to post their car and history maybe it would resolve the issue? We are just glad that we got such good documentaion on our car.

I would guess records were not as accurately kept back in the early 90's.
