Why don't you prove yourself right? A picture is all it'll take. With all 18 Subaru's, your McLaren, Alky-Dragster, and whatever the fuck else you claim to have.

I'm EXTREMELY interested in the 91 Legacy Sport Coupe.

I'm also EXTREMELY interested in the EJ20TT RHD BC you have. Again, a picture will clear all of this up.

Ball is in your court. Here is your chance to either prove us all wrong. Or prove that you are just another retard out there with the mental capacity of a 12 year old.

Yeah, I've go a McLaren in my living room next to my Alfa 8C. Ron Dennis gave it to me personally.

And it's 'hear' when referencing sound. 'Here' refers to location.

Do you want me to proove the numbers wrong again? Cause I can do that for you.

I don't remember the numbers being actually disproven... Just thrown into great doubt. Or did we actually count up more US-spec cars of a particular year than the numbers say?

i did for 92, and if you can disprove one part of it you disprove all of it.

In this thread? http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=16414

I think it turned out that 92TurboLeg's car was actually a 91.

And are we sure some of them weren't Canadian?

Mine is a 1991 Turbo 2.2 Sport Sedan 5-speed with 99, 085 miles on her. Hmmmm interesting the numbers in 1992 with only 6 produced with a 5-speed, Makes mine Aaaaaaa maybe lower and more valuable! Oh ya........for those that are interested I ran a slow 16.1@81.13 mph with a reaction time of .550, with a fouled plug from (shit) gas. I have the time slip at New England Dragway in Epping NH. As far as my alky dragster.... I ran these numbers..

8th of a mile.............

Alcohol class
525 Keith Black, 671 Supercharger
Dart Heads

Thanks to Alden Pepper for his support and putting up the prize money....

WINNER: Charles Bailey-GT8 (Sponser) 7.610 @ 182.85
RUNNER UP: Tony Bascolia........................ 7.982 @ 155.34

Nice to drive a toy that sets you back in your seat.......!!

Legacy Turbo models:
* 1992 5-speed manual transmission - 6 units produced;
* 1992 automatic transmission - 5 units produced

I hope that this information is helpful for whatever purpose it is intended for.
Thanks for the opportunity to be of service.

Alky times done ........... dragster photos coming and interesting concept photos too. FHI to post numbers for 2.2 Turbo 1991 Legacy anyday now... I keep bugging them!

As far as the 1991 Twin turbo motor in a LHD car you can't.. because of the steering and other misc parts... Mine is a RHD and soon to check into a modified twin supercharger setup custom made perhaps a switzer like design. I will have to have my engineer design team put there heads together for this one. I want to go into the 9's...... I figuire with slicks on all four wheels to begin with and running alcohol perhaps at tad of nitro, don't know... it will be a kick ass....parachute equipped for just for fun!

I figuire I had a 455 mid-engine blown 1969 VW Stationwagon on the road with 122 hand painted Disney characers on her... I can have this for the street/strip to play with!

Yes I am bananas when it comes to cars... I even put to J2 rockets on a go cart when I lived in California in the 70's and went down the dragstrip in Orange County and posted something you wouldn't even believe so why say it... I think we all know about peroxide powered go carts at 300 mph.... Guess who! ... And yes I had to parachutes on...One for the cart and one for me ..Whooopie!

My mistake it was 16.3 not 16.1

God has forgiven me for I have sinned when I said 16.1 verses the true..........16.3 with a fouling plug..

Mr Bananas and his 300 MPH peroxide go cart

Years ago (1970's?), there was a man that made the rounds at dragstrips using a hydrogen peroxide rocket - powered "go cart".... callled Mr. Bananas. I think his name was something like Mr. Bananas, Bailey was his real name! His go cart flew through the 1/4 mile in under or dam near 5 seconds (if my memory serves me well) He laid down, feet first, covered in a fireproof slick suit equipped with an ejection system and a personal parachute. He pulled two hand levers and lit the rocket motors, then held on for dear life. Talk about brass cahonnes! I'm sure this flashback didn't help you any, but it was fun to reminisce with those that also know what TV Tommi Ivo's machines where all about too.

Here is a personal Email from FHI:

Look at it and weep!

Mr.Bailey,

Here is the information for you.

Your vehicle was produced only about 15 units.
It was kind of a test vehicle, just experiment purpose for Turbo in the U.S.
We couldn't find out how many blacks were produced...It was too old.
Such a interesting coincidence that Subaru has just introduced Turbo Legacy
in this summer!

Anyway, your vehicle is VERY rare one, it's true!

Did I answer to your question?

Best regards,

Yuzo Mori
FHI

For anyone interested you could of bought it for $4000.00

The price is now $19,000.00 or I will talk just a little!

Sorry the McLaren is not for sale!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck dude! That's totally ridiculous! I wouldn't even pay the $4000 for it let alone $19000! You will never, I repeat, never sell the car for that price.

Oh and how did the car go from running in the 14's to running in the 16's?

dude.....don't believe everything someone tells you......this includes some dude behind a computer at subaru.

Bottom line is their records on total sales of cars, etc are based on dealer records. Not all dealers kept very good records. My car was not pre-delivery checked in too well. None of the peritant info is in subaru's computer

Same here... I can't get a new key cut, because Subaru of Canada has no record of my VIN. Granted, us Canuks are a little backwards, but still....

Yeah, nor can I... They managed to track my car's original sale down to Carr Chevy-Subaru in Beaverton, Oregon, but Carr has no records of my car at all.

Numbers tell it from Japan at FHI and it is "VERY RARE&

....also it was peroxide liquid over a platinum grid which caused the two mixtures to ignite and the shut off was a valve.."PERIOD"!

Space shuttle is oxygen and an oxidizer... "DUH"... glad to be a retired USAF AEROSPACE fly boy....

My rocket go cart is for sale if anyone has the cannones to drive it... $38000.00, includes, suit, size XL, extra tires, extra platinum grid and four tanks....and misc spares with trailer, extra parachute..(You supply the peroxide)... have a supplier. I want to run Bonneville but insurance will not allow. Have run the McLaren M6B Prototype at 204 MPH but backed out because of aerodynamic issures with wing. Will run in the late Spring or when the flats are dry. Am looking for a max of 245 no faster with alcohol. This is a street driven converted car............. on gasoline!
