Sam, Ryan- Thanks.
Scott. Yeah, Curruso is pretty good and reasonable. He takes a while though.

Thanks!
Now hopefully I can just find the time to swap it in. There's snow all over my carport and it's going to be a cold ass project for sure.

YAY!!!
So glad to hear you get to keep Subarina around. Did you get a stock SS tranny or what'd you find?

Yeah, it's another SS 5mt. Hopefully it holds up. I got my filangies crossed.

I've got the usual extended break and I'd be happy to eh, hand wrenches to you since it'd be more of a learning experiance for me anyway.
Just give the word Matt. Congrats on the find.
Is your neighbor Jason still around? Perhaps he'd be down with helping, since he has a garage without snow and is very competent. Just a thought.
Perhaps it's time to think about the little goody sitting in your basement too eh?

Thanks Sam. I'm pretty sure I can get it done alone but if I need a hand I'll definitely keep you in mind.
Hmm, little goody in the basement? That could be a few things really. I think he means my rear 3.9 LSD. I plan to put that in during the tranny swap. I'm also doing my front rotors with new Metal Master pads, new shifter bushings and good redline gear oil.
I also have my other motor down there which I plan (hope) to rebuild sometime soon.
My studded snow tires, my Phantom EGT gauge that still needs installed, my GR2's ect.., they're all down there too.
Uh..yeah, I have a bit of work to do.

well... it has been a while since I've been in Matt's basement, haha, but the VLSD is the goody I was talking about
