Crap! Problem is, Phil has to work until mid-afternoon on Friday.

We'll give you a call when we get a spectator guide just in case you were gonna venture out for a bit. Otherwise, next time!

Damn, Junior, sorry we didn't meet up. We didn't roll in to the camp site on Friday night until 1:30am and we went to sleep immediately. Then, we stayed at a B&B the next night.

yeah, we didn't get to the camp site until about 11... I wanted to swing by your site and say hi, never got the chance though, rally day itself was pretty fast paced. I'll have photos, videos and commentary up later this evening.

Well that was a lot of fun! It was my first time at a rally. I definitely want to do this again, especially now knowing how it works. I'm already planning on what to do for food next year. ;)

Sorry we didn't get to meet up with you, Junior. Another time, I hope.

It was nice meeting you, Jess, however briefly. I had been admiring your car on the walk up to the spectating site earlier.

On my way back to Cleveland along I-80 I saw several of the teams. I saw the ACR Neon team that Phil, Sam, and I saw at the gas station, and also one of the STis. Apparently the Prelude and the Sentra were traveling together, too.

[Cross post from nasioc]

Great adventures!
1. Phil trying to ford the creek along SF Road at 1am but immediately wussing out and nearly running me over as he reversed out again! Just teasing I totally wussed too and never even tried.
2. Us succesfully fording the creek in campsite at 1:30 am
3. Waking up to find a raging torrent was stranding us
4. Staying at a cushy B&B the next night instead
5. Watching Prod pull some Oregon Trail action by driving through the raging torrent in his bling Leg GT and not dying... barely
6. Getting to drive across a pedestrian bridge instead of following Prod's bad example
7. Fitting 9 people in subyrally's little RX and making the rear tires smoke
8. Feeling subyrally's undercarriage bend as the rally god tore the fuel pump off the bottom of the car
9. Blasting my car up the mud hill to bring tools to fix subyrally's car
10. Smoke billowing from my hood from me smoking my clutch while stupidly trying to 3 point turn through the ruts
11. The best drifting action I've ever seen at Colton Point due to the muddiness
12. Rally mud thrown into my inner ear canal by an awesome GC that won the whole rally. I never should've washed it out
13. Leading vrg3 and BAC5.2 on a caravan through all the stage roads the next day
14. Good times with legacy92ej22t, vrg3, BAC5.2+Debbie, subyrally, Prod, PURE_EPI, MrHappy, AquaCow, RippenGriffen

This a Jeep fording the raging torrent. The night before, it was just an ankle deep creek, but we woke up to find this monster separating us from the rest of the world.

vrg3 breakin' the law! breakin' the law!

vrg3 lying in the mud to fix this guy's RX. His fuel pump was torn off the undercarriage.

I made it through the mud. This park ranger was just standing there amused at vrg3 lying in the mud fixing cars.

Look what the rally cars did to these people:

No way! I saw that pic of Vikash in the mud working on subyrally's car on NASIOC and I totally thought that was him! I was like, "Wow that looks like V and it's something he'd totally do, get down in the mud to help a fellow Suby brother!" and I was right. Big props V! :D

I really wish I could have made it but I'll make up for it next year!

Sam - Sweet. Do you have a higher-res version of the shot of our three cars against the mountain?

Matt - Yeah, you were definitely missed. And thanks for the kind words. You recognized me from my legs? Huh. I should write SOA and ask for a pair of Subaru sweatpants to wear for things like this so they can get free advertising.

I did! I just thought it looked like you. That or I thought it was Dave (aquacow on NASIOC).

I saw two legacy turbos with Andrewtech stickers on them.

I was driving a black sti, and one of my white legacy turbos throughout the day, but was busy helping with Team Great Northern's car in the morning and Honda R&D's RSX throughout the day. Good times as always at STPR.

Wait, whose was the other Legacy Turbo with Andrewtech stickers?

I was assuming he was confused. We had two cars with stickers, and two Legacy turbos, just not the same.
