ok, iam home here in alaska now. the car runs great, i switched it back to the older cable drive cluster. I just got my ACT clutch kit today, maybe i'll put it in tonight, but it should solve all my problems.
Ive also since added the blitz BOV (again) I've had no issues with it at all, and the Full exhaust, pics to come, but i had to cut off all the hangers and move them around and cut afew cross brace pieces.
I also scored an 04 sti short block, and i might get a TT manifold eventually. Ive been too busy putting a 454 together (500hp).

Well, i sort of worked at the biggest salvvage yard in the world, so i had an almost unending supply of OEM parts, maybe some day i'll work on a parts list aand a more detailed build up.
I installed the new stage 2 ACT kit, workd great.
I ran it at the track almost 550miles after the install, so i didnt launch at all, i just rolled nicly on the line and steadly pulled to WOT, i didnt shift had either b/c my clutch pedal hit the floor on my first run, it needs alittle more rod adjustment and maybe fab a stop behind the pedal.
Unfortunatly my best run was a 15.1, i had to pull the clutch pedal off the floor twice during that one.
I definatly need an engine damper, im gonna fab one up maygbe th9is weekend, because when that clutch grabs i can hear the drive shaft bang. Also i might be in the mode to get 4.44 forester 5spd and diff, and but still use the VLSD unit (I can just change the ring and input shaft to change ratio)
I also just bought an 04 STI short block, as a spare for my wife, but i just might hone, cross hash, and re-ring it and put it in mine.
Also a local guy here has been doing tons of open ECU enginuity flashes, everyone that gets them has nothing but good stuff to say, and he's under $200 i hear for a road tune+flash.
And i have plans on attending the 2008 Subiefest with it. driving from alaska.

Well, to wake this thread up from the dead... What all would have to me changed to convert a LHD car to a RHD car??
From what I can tell you have to move/relocate the throttle cables, cruise control unit, brake booster, clutch components, A/C components. Also the P/S lines & A/C lines need to be custom made. Also the wiper arms are reversed as well.
Am I missing anything?

I'm not sure about a BC/BF Legacy, but on the Imprezas (GC/GF/GD/GG) most of the people that have attemted them have found it easier to cut out sections (or whole) of the firewall and weld in RHD pieces.
I personally wouldn't attempt it unless I had a front cut RHD car.

having the RHD is definatley a novelty, but ive seen first hand 240sx rhd conversions with half cuts and its not worth it. the time and effort you put into it is more than driving north to canada and buying a crappy base model from an importer for 2-3k and just doing a swap.
If your hearts set on doing it to a certain car, than just stick with your original plan, doint switch a bunch of stuff up halfway through and dont compromise.
the firewall on my legacy had spots that could have been cut out for a lhd car.but the support for the column was welded in. and its not like some of the mitsu's ive seen that actually have holes you can knock out with a hammer. the subarus have no markings for anything, just the contours of the firewall to sugget where it might go. precision measurment will be key
swap
