See that's the weird one with me - two of the few times I got warning, I gave the cops attitude and all my tickets came while being agreeable and polite. One warning I got when I pulled out my Sylvania ID as it was on top of my license and he gave me a warning since my company paid the cops tons of OT to direct traffic near the parking lot (even though there was a light). I was being polite to him, too, and honestly hadn't realized I had been speeding (technically, "too fast for conditions" due to the snow. He said he could barely catch me [>35 mph?] in my Subaru with his rwd V8. I told him the car doesn't even notice the snow).
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
