Lacuna Coil - Heaven's a Lie
My girlfriend gets mad when she hears me listening to this song, because it's one of her favorite songs and she feels like I'm copying her. But I can't help it. It's an awesome song.

Bad Religion - Anesthesia
Not listening to it on my computer as usual though, spilled half a can of coke right into it when swapping video cards

Eek! Sorry to hear Mike.
Not to shake a finger at anyone, but I never crack my computer case unless repair necessitates it. I had it apart a year and a half ago to replace the power supply and I haven't touched the case since except to push the power button.
Oh...
Aurora - I Can Hear You Calling
It's about 20 minutes into Blade X's Definitive Tide mix , the first track on part 2.

Steve... holy shit.
I was sitting here for a few minutes trying to make sense of Lost Highway, and then I came to the conclusion that it's basically not supposed to be made sense out of, even if I watch it a couple more times.
Nevertheless, it was so fucking awesome! That's already one of my all-time favorite movies now.

OT: Lost Highway's in my top ten. I remember reading something with David Lynch saying that he started out as a painter and started seeing paintings move and so he decided to make movies as moving paintings. That seems to fit best since you never get a whole story with a painting - it's just a scene that you read into yourself helped along by the mood or emotion in the film. You might like Blue Velvet or Twin Peaks (the movie) also. I thought Mulholland Drive fell apart at the end and Eraser Head was too out there for me. Twin Peaks had the only rape I could deal with in a movie since it was shown through the eyes of the victim who's brain wouldn't let her fully comprehend the horror of it. I thought it was a great take on it. Blue Velvet was really cool, though.

Awesome. Thanks for the tips Steve.
I might have to get a Netflix subscription to see some of these though. Usually I'm okay with Blockbuster, but when I want to see something a little on the dark and ominous side, they look at me like I have three heads.
Or are these movies I can't even get from Netflix? If so, I'll buy them if you think they're worth buying.
Apocalyptica - Theme to Max Payne 2... another one I got from my girlfriend. She has a dark side too, and if you had any idea how much it turns me on...
